Poplar Treehouse Near Asheville

The poplar tree house was perfect place to stay for my Daughters wedding . She got married at the Stoney woods estate. The tree house was comfortable and clean and close to the estate. The whole estate is absolutely Beautiful with enough accommodations for the wedding party and guests. Kim and Steve were so kind and accommodating. Perfect place for a wedding.

Very nice place. Super clean!! Beds are super comfortable. They have equipped the cabin with everything thing u would need for your stay. Highly recommend this place. Awesome place for a wedding or family gathering

Oh what an awesome blessing to be able to experience a peaceful and very beautiful resort. I attended a wedding there which set the stage and ambience of love and happiness. Who needs a venue indoors when the majesty of the mountains captivates a picture of a thousand words.

In August of 2024, we held our wedding at Stony Woods, and I can’t imagine a more idyllic place. We checked in on a Wednesday with the plan to stay until Sunday, but we loved it there so much, we wound up extending to the following Wednesday. Kim, Steve, and everyone on staff were so attentive and accommodating. Planning and staging a wedding is supposed to be stressful, but they made everything incredibly easy. The villa is gorgeous, comfortable, spacious, and there are just so many varied places to chill. Or dance, if that’s your thing. And it’s so convenient to be able to rent the five treehouse cabins within walking distance of the villa. This allows other guests to have their own private spaces with well-appointed kitchens and beautiful bathrooms. Our family and friends wound up staying in these, and it was rave reviews all around. If you’re planning a gathering in the mountains, especially if it’s a wedding, there is no better place to do it than here. Close to Marshall and Hot Springs, close to a ton of hiking trails and river activities, close to Asheville. Seriously, look no further. You found the place. Perfect rustic setting, extremely nice lodging, Kim and her staff have a great relationship with a bunch of local caterers (we highly recommend Daphne’s Catering/Twisted Laurel in Weaverville), setup and breakdown of the ceremony space and reception tent are seamless, and we hear they’ve built a big party deck since we were there. Just book this place. It’s incredible.

Great treehouse Positive: Everything. It was lovely. Peaceful and quiet. And very clean. A hot tub would have been a great bonus though. Negative: No black out curtains in bedroom..very bright in the mornings. LoL
