Maple Treehouse Near Asheville

We recently rented Stony Woods Estate for my daughter's wedding and could not have been happier with the choice. We filled the Villa and all of the Tree Houses over a long weekend. All of the guests, plus many more staying in local hotels, had such a wonderful experience. Kim and Steve are an absolute pleasure to work with, super helpful but not intrusive, and offered great advice throughout the process. They have an excellent list of preferred vendors. You also have the opportunity to use other vendors that are not on the list, which was great for flexibility, but we generally stayed with their list. Many local vendors are very familiar with the location and that made the planning and coordinating really easy. The accomodations are all spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the wifi works great and it is very well equipped. In addition to the buildings themselves, the whole estate offers some lovely nature walks and scenic spots that offer some wonderful photo opportunities for the bride and groom. I HIGHLY recommend Stony Woods to anyone looking for a fabulous venue in this part of the world.

Our entire family rented cabins and spent a lovely long weekend celebrating our son and new daughter-in-law’s wedding! The property is beautiful and the cabins are well built and equipped with everything you need. The beds in our cabin are so comfortable! Our son and daughter-in-law and their wedding party stayed in the main house. It is very nice and spacious and we enjoyed a cookout & breakfasts there together. Steve and Kim know what they are doing and are so helpful when preparing and setting up for the wedding. We were all so pleased with the property and how magical the entire place felt the night of the wedding. Highly recommend!

We traveled from Wisconsin to celebrate our wedding at this beautiful venue, and it was absolutely worth it. Everything ran seamlessly thanks to Kim and Steve—they were incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They truly embody Southern hospitality. Being able to book both the villa and the treehouses was such a unique experience, and it meant we could have all our friends and family together in one place, which made the weekend even more memorable. The property is stunning, spacious, and thoughtfully set up for events. We can’t recommend this venue—and its wonderful hosts—highly enough.

Absolutely perfect venue for a wedding! The individual cabin met all our needs and offered spectacular views. The deck was great! We wish we had more time to enjoy it all!

I was really thrilled with the accessibility of the setup of the cabin. Everything was within reach. No problems with any of the interior. The staff was accommodating. I was VERY impressed where we were! The location was beautiful and breath-taking views from every window. I enjoyed this beautiful location with my family for my Grandson's Wedding! What a fabulous time - Thanks Steve and family!!
